The contenders for the current People’s Choice Awards have been revealed, and Taylor Swift received Numerous Nominations for People Choice Awards in several categories, notably in Movie of the Year. TAYLOR SWIFT’s THE ERAS TOUR film is competing against Barbie, Oppenheimer, The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Fast X, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, and The Little Mermaid in its category. The tour itself has received a nomination for Concert Tour of the Year, where it will face off against tours by Ed Sheeran, Coldplay, Harry Styles, Pink, Beyoncé, Luke Combs, and Morgan Wallen.
Taylor is also a nominee for Female Artist( including Beyoncé, Doja Cat, Karol G, Lainey Wilson, Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, Olivia Rodrigo) Pop Artist (Billie Eilish, Doja Cat, Dua Lipa, Jung Kook, Miley Cyrus, Olivia Rodrigo, Tate McRae) and Social Celebrity of the Year (Britney Spears, Dwayne Johnson, Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Megan Thee Stallion, Nicki Minaj, Selena Gomez) although surprisingly not for Song of the Year. Meanwhile, her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, is in the running for Athlete of the Year.
Other notable contenders include Miley Cyrus, Jonas Brothers, Dua Lipa, Olivia Rodrigo, The Weeknd, and Kelly Clarkson. Interestingly, Kelly is not nominated in any music categories; instead, her show is vying for The Daytime Talk Show of the Year. Voting is open until January 19 at VotePCA.com.
The People’s Choice Awards, hosted by Barbie actor Simu Liu, will be broadcasted on NBC, Peacock, and E! on Sunday, February 18, at 8 p.m., live from Santa Monica.
